Alan H. Grant, Esq.

With more than twenty-five years practicing law, Alan H. Grant, Esq. brings unusual insight to clients of the firm. He provides advice to business clients acting as an outside general counsel to various size companies. He focuses on corporate and real estate law, sales and acquisitions of businesses, transactions, entity advice, business planning and residential and commercial real estate settlements. Strategic planning and analysis occupy a substantial part of Mr. Grant's work with clients.
Mr. Grant also assists clients with trust and estate planning in family businesses including structuring transfers of family interests to successor generations. He enjoys the personal relationship with his clients arising from careful review of their estates and matching planning techniques and processes. He holds a law degree from George Washington University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
Michael L. Riffkin, Esq.

Michael L. Riffkin, Esp. is licensed in Maryland, D.C. and Pennsylvania, concentrating his practice on commercial and residential real estate matters, litigation, business and estate planning. Mr. Riffkin has extensive experience in closing commercial and residential loans. He handles other commercial and real estate matters in addition to consumer lending matters. Mr. Riffkin has represented lenders in all aspects of banking including new loans, loan workouts, foreclosures and other financial matters. He also advices individuals and companies regarding entity formation, business disputes and the disposition of their real estate.
Mr. Riffkin's litigation practice focuses on the representation of businesses and individuals in commercial disputes, domestic, guardianship and collection matters. In addition, Mr. Riffkin represents Community Associations in their lien and foreclosure matters. He holds a law degree from Duquesne University and an undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Rena L. Strauss, Esq.

Rena L. Strauss, Esq. has been an integral part of the firm since joining in 2001. Her practice primarily focuses in the areas of Creditor Rights litigation in the Maryland Courts as well as Bankruptcy representation in Federal Court. Ms. Strauss represents purchasers, sellers and lending institutions in residential as well as commercial real estate transactions and represents various parties in litigation related to real property, landlord-tenant, and other property disputes in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Strauss advises clients on Estate Planning and Trust formation and litigates disputes regarding the administration of Probate Estates. Ms. Strauss is also actively involved in Guardianship Estates. Ms. Strauss is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland Honors Programs and a cum laude graduate of the American University, Washington College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Philip S. Raskin, Esq.

Philip S. Raskin, Esq. is licensed in Maryland and D.C., concentrating his practice on commercial and residential real estate matters, litigation, and business planning. Mr. Raskin has extensive experience in closing commercial and residential loans and advising clients about issues surrounding the contamination of real property. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Raskin worked as a hydrogeologist/environmental consultant representing the Federal Government, Department of Defense, large oil companies, and other Fortune 500 Companies focusing on groundwater and soil contamination associated with their properties. Mr. Raskin combines his knowledge of the law and environmental contamination advising gasoline station owners in the Greater Washington Area. Mr. Raskin received his Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University, Columbus School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University.
Karelle N. Lewis, Esq.

Karelle N. Lewis graduated from American University, Washington College of Law
in May of 2003. She is licensed to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Maryland.
She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in
Criminology and Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lewis
practiced Family Law in Landover, Maryland.
