Bryan J. Sanders is licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Sanders specializes in both individual and business law. Bryan Sanders received his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law in May 2011. He holds his undergraduate degree in business from University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business (College Park campus). Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sanders clerked in the Montgomery County Circuit Court for the Honorable Judge Scrivener.

Rena L. Strauss brings a unique perspective to the law firm of Grant, Riffkin & Strauss. Since joining the firm in 2001, Rena enjoys exploring every aspect of a particular issue. Her practice primarily focuses in the areas of Creditor Rights litigation in the Maryland Courts. She regularly represents purchasers, sellers and lending institutions in residential as well as commercial real estate transactions and counsels various parties in litigation related to real property, landlord-tenant, and other property disputes in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland.
Ms. Strauss also believes in helping clients control the outcome of life changing events, such as marriage, birth of a child and the death of a loved one. As an estate planning attorney, she works to help clients build an estate plan and maximize the transfer of wealth. She advises clients on Estate Planning and Trust formation and litigates disputes regarding the administration of Probate Estates. Ms. Strauss is also actively involved in Guardianship Estates.
Rena Strauss is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland Honors Programs and a cum laude graduate of the American University, Washington College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Ms. Strauss is the director and chairperson of an annual Good Deeds Day in the community.

He often handles complex cases that draw upon his expertise. His advice to businesses helps them navigate through complex issues and often brings insight and direction to companies. His focus is on corporate and real estate law, sales and acquisitions of businesses, transactions, entity advice, business planning and residential and commercial real estate settlements. One of Mr. Grant’s core principles, and passions, is assisting clients with trust and estate planning – particularly in family businesses. He listens to his clients and understands their goals – helping them to create an effective plan for the future. His expertise includes structuring transfers of family interests to successive generations. True to the philosophy of his firm, Mr. Grant enjoys a personal relationship with his clients that arises from careful review of their estates and matching that review with a plan and process for the future.
Education and Affiliations. Alan Grant holds a law degree from George Washington University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. He is also trained as a CPA. Mr. Grant is a member of the Potomac Bethesda Rotary Club, Association of Attorney CPAs, Estate Planning Council of Maryland, Wharton Alumni and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Licensed in Maryland, D.C. and Pennsylvania, Mr. Riffkin brings a complete knowledge of the complex issues involved in commercial and residential real estate matters, litigation, business and estate planning. He regularly represents clients in closing commercial and residential loans. And Mr. Riffkin has experience in all other phases of commercial and real estate issues, as well as consumer lending matters. Mr. Riffkin is keenly familiar with all aspects of banking – including new loans, loan workouts, foreclosures and other financial matters. He also counsels individuals and companies, and helps them develop a strategy regarding entity formation, business disputes and the disposition of their real estate.
Domestic and guardianship disputes, civil litigation and collection matters are prime areas of focus for Mr. Riffkin. He often represents businesses and individuals through complex negotiations.

Erica Nordberg received her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law in May 2013. She brings experience in litigation and litigation support, domestic matters and small business law. Erica works in the following areas: collections and creditors’ rights, corporate law, and estates & trusts. Erica is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Massachusetts.
She graduated cum laude with a degree in Political Science from Northeastern University in 2009.
