We are attorneys familiar with all facets of real estate law. We can help with the purchase and sale of a home, co-op, condominium and/or commercial property. The legal aspects of contracts, title insurance and financing change regularly, and we provide legal counsel to ensure that you understand the many legal exposures presented throughout the process. ESTATE PLANNING
Planning your estate is a proactive and necessary step in ensuring you and your loved ones are protected and your wishes are followed. An estate plan is more than just a Will. It includes important powers of attorney and health care directives that ensure you are cared for in the event of illness or incapacity. It includes advice and planning for non probate assets, succession planning for businesses, property transfers, and more depending on your personal situation. We listen to you, we discuss all your concerns and goals, and create a plan tailored to you. Download our planning worksheet here to get started.
PROBATE & TRUST ADMINISTRATION
After a loved one passes, there remains the often burdensome or confusing responsibility of administering their estate or trust. Assets must be located, and valued. Debts must be assessed and paid. Taxes must be filed. And ultimately, the estate must be distributed. We advise Personal Representatives, Trustees, and other interested parties on this process, becoming as involved as the client desires. We may manage the entire process and complete all required court filings, or we may guide you through completing these items yourself.
